One of my best friends once said to me, “I never want to be a person that sees something wrong, allows the Holy Spirit to stir in me, and then do nothing about it.” That’s a phrase that I will always repeat to myself when I see anything about sex trafficking. Today, maybe at this very moment, there is a girl enslaved. She feels hopeless, dirty, and worthless. You and I both know that she is a jewel and that she is so WORTH the fight. Will you pray with me? That this sweet beautiful girl will one day live in a freedom that she has never experienced. A freedom found in our awesome Father!
“You may think you’re a slave,
but your freedom already bartered,
O, my beloved.”
Some sweet friends of mine are using their talents and gifts to raise awareness to this issue. Sex trafficking may or may not be that passion the Holy Spirit is using to stir your soul. Maybe it’s homelessness, the fatherless, or the abused. Just do something. Matthew 21:3 says, “If anyone says anything to you, say that the Lord needs them, and he will send them right away.” So, I am going to ask you a question. Are you who the Lord sends? Someone is carrying something behind their eyes, I want you to show them that our Father’s burden is light.

Notes about Brad’s song:
He shows us this song and we really wanted to know how this amazing song was born and we got a beautiful response. Our only reaction was to worship Jesus and soak our hearts in this amazing truth. Brad told us that he was playing and the Lord, “kinda just started giving me those words.” He asked the Lord who this song was for and the Father said:
“This is from Me to my daughters in bondage and anyone else that doesn’t now their value.”
Then Brad says, “so He gave me this as a personal letter to them.”
I don’t know who this is for- but, sweet child, He has a purpose for YOU. You may have been called the “uh-oh” your whole life- NO, He already knew you and you are His child. He knit you in your mother’s womb, and He is now standing at the end of your life. Isn’t that cool? He loves you more than you could ever comprehend and so do we. Now, go show a taste of the Father’s love to others, child of Jerusalem.
